December Daily - December 1 - 5

This year, I am using a traveler’s notebook to document December. This is a first for me, but I have enjoyed the format so much for One Little Word, that I have decided to continue in this format. My plan is to capture one polaroid a day, and use my iPhone for low light scenes.

December 1

Today I captured our Christmas card, placed strategically in our blooming camellia bush in the backyard. It is a total win for me to have our cards already in hand on December 1! Also, I love how our camellia bush is in full bloom this time of year.

December 2

Today was a particularly beautiful, warm day on the beach. Set the auto timer on my Polaroid One Now and hopped in the picture. Almost looks like a silhouette since this was taken at 12 noon!

Simple addition to my album today, included my journaling around the photo.

December 3

Heading out of town today. Today’s film capture is a selfie from the rearview window. A little dark, but I love the feeling.

December 4

My first day without an instant film photo! I ran a half marathon today and decided to document this capture by my husband. I used the same photo corners to mimic film, but this is definitely an iphone capture!

December 5

We finally got our tree today! It is smaller than we are used to, but I really love this size.

And here is a peak at each of these layouts coming together. This definitely gives you a look into what goes through my mind when I am creating.
