Fall Project Life Layout

Fall Project Life Layout | Azzari Jarrett

I love it when the deep, rich colors of Fall start making an appearance in my project life spreads. It's definitely one of my favorite times of year to document.

Here's a look at one of my recents layouts.

Watercolors | Azzari Jarrett

This is a photo I posted last week on Instagram -  some pattern making with watercolors.  Playing with watercolors is definitely a great stress reliever for me.

I decided to use these in my layouts because I loved the colors so much.  I cut the orange circles out and trimmed them to 3x4 inches.  I also took the pattern on the far left and cut it down to 4 x 6 inches.

I did scan these in before I cut the originals, just in case I decide to use them later!

The 'good enough' card is from the Studio Calico Brimfield Project Life Kit. I also used the light leak from my recent film captures as journaling space.  The 'Fall Bucket List" is from my stash, from a Studio Calico past kit - I can't quite remember which one.

I stamped the ampersand with gold ink and attached it directly to my watercolor patterns - loved the way it turned out.  And I have been hoarding Tina's "what if" card, also from the Studio Calico Brimfield Project Life Kit.  I simply attached one of my instant film photos capturing fall light, with a gold paper clip. I'm always looking for interesting ways to incorporate film captures in my layouts.

October 2015 Free Printable | Azzari Jarrett

Instead of a desktop background this month, I decided to change things up a bit and create a calendar for the month of October.  Print it out, stick it on your inspiration wall, use it in your Project Life Spreads, gift it to a friend. Free for personal use.

I printed these two on kraft paper, but feel free to use plain white paper as well.

late fall harvest

I've been sick.  And it was not fun.  Needless to say, I will be get my flu shot from now on.

The above images were taken in Father's garden in Louisiana over the Thanksgiving holiday.  His kumquat and lemon trees never disappoint.  And as you can probably see, I'm learning to love Portra 160.

And finally, On the Table is back in stock and ready to ship.  I had no idea so many people would be interested - thank you!

a fall walk

Yesterday, I went for a lunch time walk.

I stopped and paused when I reached this bridge.  It was covered in fall leaves.  Undisturbed.  Beautiful.

All images taken on my iPhone and edited with the VSCO Cam app.

a good weekend

First off, thanks for such a warm response to my book + calendar.  It's quite humbling to see my work in print and be able to ship to so many wonderful places.  Thank you, truly.

A few images from my weekend, a quiet one at that.  A fall colored bouquet, coffee and the morning paper, signs of my nephews' visit, and "the day after" candles - memories of a good meal at the table.
