February Layouts with Paislee Press

To say that I have enjoyed my time on the Paislee Press Creative Team is an understatement.  I was honored when Liz selected me to be on her team last year - my very first creative team.  I have created some of my most favorite Project Life layouts with Paislee Press designs.  I love Liz's minimalist style and her photo templates pair so perfectly with my photos.

Here are my last three layouts for the Paislee Press Creative Team.  And no worries, I plan to keep posting updates of my project life layouts and you will definitely see Paislee Press products popping up in my layouts here and there - I just love them so much!

I see that view on the lower right hand corner almost every evening from my home. So happy that I captured the beautiful clouds and sky that night.

This layout has my heart. My daughter decided to open up a nail shop right in front of the playground. She was too proud to have her first customer!

Behind the Lens Project Life Layout | Azzari Jarrett

Finally, Liz's Behind the Lens collection just speaks to me.  Full of goodies to document film and photography.

It has been a pleasure to be a part of this team!

You can check out all of my Paislee Press layouts here.

January Layouts with Paislee Press

I am loving the 9x12 inch format for 2016! Here are the first few January pages of my album using Paislee Press products.

January 2016 Title Page - Azzari Jarrett

You guys have seen this one before in my 2016 Project Life Plans + Title Page post.  Once again, I designed the "20" and "16" 4x6 filler cards.  My "I (still) shoot film" square flair badge is available at Scrapbook and More. I used two 3x4 journal cards from Liz's Mantras collection.  Two of my own photos round out the title page.

January Project Life Layout | Azzari Jarrett

I am still committed to including film in my layouts! Here, I simply used Scotch Double Sided Adhesive Roller to attach mini Instax film photos to Mantras journal cards. Especially loving the Mantras photo templates and wordart - I layered it with a darker photo and changed the text to white in Photoshop. Also used in this layout: 2016 Calendar Journal Cards, about us journal cards, eternal sunshine journal cards, and press cards no 32.

January 2016 Project Life Layout 9x12 | Azzari Jarrett

And a full page (9x12 inch) layout with the Goes with Everything Papers. You can never go wrong with black and white stripes - always a classic.  Once again, I used Scotch Double Sided Adhesive Roller to attach 3 mini Instax film photos of a recent birthday party that my daughter attended.  "Love you" word art is from the my tribe elements pack.

So far, the 9x12 inch size is really working for me. I am loving the simple change and how it is forcing me to think about my layouts a bit differently.  I will share a few more completed layouts from January soon!

December Layouts with Paislee Press

December was such busy month, I completely forgot to post my layouts with Paislee Press products!  Better late than never, and I particularly love these two layouts.

December Layouts with Paislee Press | Azzari Jarrett

Black and white + fall colors are always a favorite.  Instead of one large print, I printed the 6 x 12 image on the right as 3 - 4x6 images and cut them to fit a Design U page protector (included in the Small Variety Pack 5).  Products used: Monthly Volume 2 Word Art, Welcome Photo Templates and Word Art, and Cozy Journal Cards.

Paislee Press December Monthly Project  | Azzari Jarrett

I'm slowly (but surely), continuing to work on my 6x8 travel album from our trip to Greece last summer.  This is one of those projects that I work on when I have time, but I am enjoying the process of working on bit by bit.  Products used in this layout: 4x6 Photo Templates Volume 5 and Joie de vivre Elements.

I am currently working on a post of my Project Life plans for 2016, which I will share soon!

November Layouts with Paislee Press

It's the last week in November and I'm excited to share with you my layouts for this month using products from Paislee Press.

First up is the 2016 Calendar Kit.

I paired each month with a scanned polaroid film image and printed these at 4x6 inches.  I love how this turned out, and I have decided to give this calendar as a gift for Christmas.  Not going to mention who, so that it still remains a surprise!

November Monthly Layout with Paislee Press | Azzari Jarrett

Easing into Monday with coffee in my studio.

I cropped this image into 4 - 4x6 inch images and added them to a Design L page protector. I really love switching page designs, I think it keeps my album interesting and I don't get bored with the same layout.

Products used: xoxo, Days 4x6 Photo Templates and Journal Cards, more or less elements, coffee flair badge

And finally, two foundation pages from my December Daily album using December you are a fave no 4 papers.

Looking forward to sharing more of my layouts in December with Paislee Press!

October Layouts with Paislee Press

It is the last week of October, and I am reminded once again why I love documenting so much.  In addition to telling stories, I truly love the colors of Fall.

I have three layouts to share with you this month using Paislee Press products.

October Layouts with Paislee Press | Azzari Jarrett

I like to use 12 x 12 inch photos as a statement piece in my albums - letting them tell the stories on their own.  I don't worry about resolution if the image speaks to me, regardless of the quality.  I took this photo with my iPhone, and it brings me right back to this day, and that's why I do what I do - to capture memories that mean the most to me. I could care less about technical details.

Here is a closer look at each page of this layout.

October Monthly Layout | Azzari Jarrett

I am still working on my  6x8 inch mini-album, of our anniversary trip to Greece this summer.  Hoping to have this completed by the end of year to share in more detail!

For the photo on the left, I used the Paislee Press 6x8 Minimalist Templates.  On the right, I used acrylic paint and a sheet of transparency to create a monoprint on the white space of two of the XOXO journal Cards.  This is one of Tina's techniques as a part of the Studio Calico Mixed Media Class.

I am finding that I love adding paint and watercolor to my journal cards.  More soon.

Fall Comforts Layout | Azzari Jarrett

Fall Comforts Layout | Azzari Jarrett

And finally, probably my favorite from this month, is this collage of Fall images using Liz's Photocentric No. 1 templates.  This layout is 8.5x11 inches, perfect to slip in the binder with my story theme layouts.

I used my Silhouette to cut the Cozy Cut Files on printable gold foil paper.  I adhered the 'fall' and 'comforts' cut files directly on top of this layout.  Definitely a simple, yet clean, way to document fall.

Looking forward to sharing more of my layouts in November!

September Layouts with Paislee Press

It's almost the end of the month, which means that I have a couple of Paislee Press designs to share with you.

Week In the Life | Azzari Jarrett

You may remember these pages are from my Week In The Life 2015 album, which I completed this month.  You can see more of my album here.

First Day of School Layout | Azzari Jarrett

The Class In Session collection is perfect for documenting those first days of school. Here I used a 8.5 x 11 We R Memory Keepers insert, which fit perfectly in my album.

Seattle Project Life Layout | Azzari Jarrett

I'm just starting to document the first half of our PNW trip and I'm loving the new 3x4 Photo Templates Vol. 2.  So simple and clean, which really makes my photos stand out.  I picked up the 4x6 'Seattle' card from Pike Street Press.

Look out for more of my layouts in October!

August Layouts with Paislee Press

Today I'd like to share the Project Life layouts I created in August using Paislee Press designs.

August Layouts with Paislee Press by Azzari Jarrett

One of the things that I love the most about summer is all of the beautiful colors that pop up in my spreads - especially summer meals.  I find that black and white designs pair best with these layouts. Tip: Try printing a simple design on vellum and layering it over a patterned journal card.

Paislee Press Days Project Life Layout by Azzari Jarrett

We visited Asheville, North Carolina this summer for our family vacation.  Loved using the days (3x4 journal cards) and the 4x6 photo templates and journal cards for this spread.

I also plan to use these journal cards and templates in my Week In The Life album - more on this coming soon!

Paislee Press MPM Foundation | Azzari Jarrett

All of the pictures in this spread are film photographs I captured over the summer with my Nikon F100 and Kodak Portra 160 film.  I used elements and journal cards from the Memory Pockets Monthly Add On Collection - Foundation collection for this layout.  The flair badge is one that I designed a couple of months ago for Scrapbook and More.

Looking forward to sharing more of my layouts in September!

July Layouts with Paislee Press

Super inspired with this month's Paislee Press designs.  Which is pretty obvious since I have 4 layouts to share this month!

Paislee Press Rave Reviews Photo Templates | Layout by Azzari Jarrett

I decided to create a separate mini-album to document our anniversary trip to Greece.  I am using a Project Life 6 by 8 inch binder in black and I am loving the size.

The photo above is a peek of this album using the Paislee Press Rave Reviews Photo Templates.  Look for more from this in-progress album soon.

Paislee Press Joie de Vivre Project Life Layout | Azzari Jarrett

I found that the colors of the new Paislee Press Joie de Vivre Journal Cards are so bright and colorful that they coordinate perfectly when documenting summer photos.

In this layout, I used Design D page protectors and a few digital overlays from the Paislee Press Joie de Vivre Elements pack.

Spring Layout | Azzari Jarrett

I completed this 12x12 layout back in March of my favorite flowers - ranunculus.  For some reason, I let it sit on my hard drive for a while.  I didn't feel it was 'complete' at the time.

I find that this is so common with my creative process.  Have you ever created something, didn't like it at the moment, and then revisited it later to find that it wasn't so bad after all?  In fact, after letting it sit a while, it actually looks better than you imagined.  Keep pushing, and don't delete or get rid of any of your creative work.  You may come to like it in time.

A mix of Paislee Press products used for this layout: in progress papersminimalist squared (4x4 photo templates), and pictures + words no 18.

Paislee Press Artiste | Layout by Azzari Jarrett

And finally, perhaps my favorite for this month, I used a Design F page protector with the Paislee Press Artiste and Modern Art Collection.  Such fun photo templates and paint strokes included in these kits.  All elements in the modern art collection are layered and fully editable in Photoshop, which makes it easy to create your own custom 3 by 4  and 4 by 6 inch journal cards - which I did in this layout with the different paint strokes and word art.

In my quest to incorporate more film into my layouts, I decided to pair this collection with some recent instax photos.  I simply attached them with small paper clips to some of the artiste digital papers, trimmed down to 3 by 4 inches.  Kinda love this result!

Look forwarding to sharing more of my Paislee Press layouts in August.
