my polaroid wall

This drawer in my workspace is filled with all of my polaroids, taken with various cameras.  Once I scan them, they end up here.  Which isn't so bad - it is quite a sight to pull open that drawer and see so much goodness!  But I've decided that this has to change, so I have begun a "polaroid wall" - filled with favorites.

I'm using these as adhesives, and they are really working out so far.  I'm not quite finished, but I'm loving the results.  And this wall is definitely proving to be quite the conversation starter.  Looking forward to adding more ~

a few thoughts on photography

undefinedundefinedundefined Polaroid 660 Land Camera| Polaroid 600 film (oh how I miss my 600 film!) One of the things I love the most about photography is the ability to forever capture an instant in time.  And knowing that these pictures will live on much longer than me.  Capturing not what's there, but what I see - My perspective, my spin, my vision.  The funny looks I get in public when I am composing, focusing, and clicking away (most times with a baby on my hip) don't bother me at all.

In fact, sometimes I feel sorry for those people who don't see.  And I feel that if I could just put a camera in their hands, maybe, just maybe - they will be able to notice the beauty in their lives.
