Fall Project Life Layout
I love it when the deep, rich colors of Fall start making an appearance in my project life spreads. It's definitely one of my favorite times of year to document.
Here's a look at one of my recents layouts.
This is a photo I posted last week on Instagram - some pattern making with watercolors. Playing with watercolors is definitely a great stress reliever for me.
I decided to use these in my layouts because I loved the colors so much. I cut the orange circles out and trimmed them to 3x4 inches. I also took the pattern on the far left and cut it down to 4 x 6 inches.
I did scan these in before I cut the originals, just in case I decide to use them later!
The 'good enough' card is from the Studio Calico Brimfield Project Life Kit. I also used the light leak from my recent film captures as journaling space. The 'Fall Bucket List" is from my stash, from a Studio Calico past kit - I can't quite remember which one.
I stamped the ampersand with gold ink and attached it directly to my watercolor patterns - loved the way it turned out. And I have been hoarding Tina's "what if" card, also from the Studio Calico Brimfield Project Life Kit. I simply attached one of my instant film photos capturing fall light, with a gold paper clip. I'm always looking for interesting ways to incorporate film captures in my layouts.
