December Daily 2015 Foundation Pages - Part 1 + Free Calendar Printable

I am currently working on my foundation pages of this year's December Daily Album.  I'm going with lots of black + gold + pops of color this year.  I am breaking it into two parts, and sharing December 1 - 13 with you today.

My goal is to have all my foundation pages in place by December 1 so that I can simply print out a photo and/or add journaling each day until Christmas.

I just want to mention that these foundation pages are just that - something for me to start with, build upon, adjust as needed.  In fact, while I am writing this post, I already see things that I would like to rearrange.  Nothing here is set in stone.  

Also, I'd like to add that it's easy to overthink this project.  

Don't.  

There are so many options and inspiration is everywhere - I think that it's important to get your stories documented, in whatever form that feels right for you. At the end of the day, simply having a place to hold all of your December memories will be a gift for years to come. 

I am using a 6x8 White Chipboard Album this year.  I decided to add a simple 'joy' to the inside cover with a silkscreen included in Ali's main kit with Copper Acrylic Paint. 

Loving the Paislee Press december you are a fave no. 4 6 x 8 papers.  You will definitely see them throughout my album!  I used the same copper acrylic paint over the Christmas Tree wood veneer.

I added a bit of journaling using Ali's "the reason why" on a 6x8 paper from december you are a fave no. 4. I love to reflect on the reason I embark on this project every year.

I included a calendar last year, and I loved the ability to add an overview of all the activities from our month.

I designed another calendar for this December and I plan to add all of our parties/musicals/festivities so that we can look back and see what December looked like for us in 2015.

I loved using Heidi Swapp's "You are Here" silk screen print over one of the transparencies from Ali's kit.
