Documenting June with Project Life
I like to call this my 'project life work station'. All of my spreads come together in this space. I like to keep my album open so that I can work on spreads throughout the day, but mostly so that my girls can come in and take a look. I love it when my oldest daughter says, "can we look at memories?"
I have just started my second 12x12 binder for the year, which is why this one is so thin right now. I am really trying to keep this year documented in only two binders - I filled three binders last year!
Here's a simple layout from June.
I like to use big prints in my layouts. I printed the photo on the right at 6x12 inches. This is a capture of the current state of our table. I love it because this is the reality of our days right now - The Wall Street Journal for my husband, and sight words and beginner reader books for my 5 year old daughter. The plastic 'currently' is from the Studio Calico Galileo Project Life Kit.
I'm really loving Tina's fear journal cards. I used one of her cards to add a bit of journaling directIy with my typewriter. I have plans to do another layout about facing my fears with these cards as well.
The title card is from a Madewell catalog that I cut into 4 x 6 inches to fit in the pocket. I have also done this for my Good Days spread. I love adding those unexpected touches to my layouts.
Here is more about my Project Life 2015 process, my Project Life spreads, and a few more pictures of my studio.
