May Layouts with Kelly Purkey Shop

This time of year is pretty busy for me. This is our last week of school, and I am looking forward to summer break and being able to get a little more time to create!

Here are two recent layouts with Kelly Purkey’s May Release.

I continue to love the 6x12 inch format for my Project Life album this year. In this layout, I documented our trip in April to New Orleans to celebrate my father’s birthday.

I mainly used the May pocket page kit - Departure, and I also included a few elements from the Traveler’s Notebook kit, Travel Numbers, Life Love Paper’s Mini Kit: Travelogue, as well as the Athens and Rio alpha stamp sets.

I also created a traveler’s notebook spread with the May Traveler’s Notebook Kit Numbers.

This was a recent girls’ trip to the Bahamas - I love how quickly and easily these spreads come together. And how documenting in traveler’s notebooks has enhanced my process.

I find that I don’t like to use chipboard embellishments, or anything bulky for these spreads. So stamping, alphas and layering journal cards are definitely my go to techniques when working in this format.

This month, I am really excited to receive the new Ciao Swag Bag and Checked In Swag Bag - can’t wait to create with those goodies!
