we can all be friends

My heart is full after a long holiday weekend.

I thought that I would explain to my daughter the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Little did I know that she would blow me away with her understanding of issues and ideas that I thought were way to complicated for a 5 year old little girl.

And I think she put it best by simply stating....

"Mommy, because of Dr. King, we can all be friends."

I couldn't have said it better myself.
