my workspace

I've shared a few images from my workspace before, and I was waiting for the room to be "finished" before sharing more.  It has occurred to me that this room will never be finished (isn't that always the case?).  It is a room of inspiration for me, and I find that I make little changes daily.  So, no need to hold out any longer!

There is no rhyme or reason for my wall gallery.  I decided to included different sizes, textures, and shapes.  Some of my work framed, my mother's mixed media art, drawings, polaroids, etc.  Each image inspires me.  And the vases I found at a wine tasting room in Napa Valley have found their way to this room.

I included a little reading corner.  One of my girls are usually sitting in the grey chair, while I am at my desk.  The drawing of me was a gift from my husband when we were dating.

As you can probably imagine, I have a lot of film around the house.   This drawer is devoted to polaroids.  It's getting a bit crazy, so I definitely think I should work on a better organization scheme.

Random bits and pieces on my desk.....

Yet another inspiration corner.  Some images my own, and some of my favorite photographers, each attached with wasabi tape to the wall.  My scanner is directly underneath.  I use it pretty frequently.

And finally, my bookshelf. Little things I have collected from trips, handmade gifts from my daughters, my trusty Pentax camera, and a photograph of my grandfather.  The Smith Corona typewriter is pretty special to me - it was my first ebay purchase in 2009, and it was included in the IKEA postcard set.

And like every work in progress, my little space will probably change next month!
