July Layouts with Paislee Press
Super inspired with this month's Paislee Press designs. Which is pretty obvious since I have 4 layouts to share this month!
I decided to create a separate mini-album to document our anniversary trip to Greece. I am using a Project Life 6 by 8 inch binder in black and I am loving the size.
The photo above is a peek of this album using the Paislee Press Rave Reviews Photo Templates. Look for more from this in-progress album soon.
I found that the colors of the new Paislee Press Joie de Vivre Journal Cards are so bright and colorful that they coordinate perfectly when documenting summer photos.
In this layout, I used Design D page protectors and a few digital overlays from the Paislee Press Joie de Vivre Elements pack.
I completed this 12x12 layout back in March of my favorite flowers - ranunculus. For some reason, I let it sit on my hard drive for a while. I didn't feel it was 'complete' at the time.
I find that this is so common with my creative process. Have you ever created something, didn't like it at the moment, and then revisited it later to find that it wasn't so bad after all? In fact, after letting it sit a while, it actually looks better than you imagined. Keep pushing, and don't delete or get rid of any of your creative work. You may come to like it in time.
A mix of Paislee Press products used for this layout: in progress papers, minimalist squared (4x4 photo templates), and pictures + words no 18.
And finally, perhaps my favorite for this month, I used a Design F page protector with the Paislee Press Artiste and Modern Art Collection. Such fun photo templates and paint strokes included in these kits. All elements in the modern art collection are layered and fully editable in Photoshop, which makes it easy to create your own custom 3 by 4 and 4 by 6 inch journal cards - which I did in this layout with the different paint strokes and word art.
In my quest to incorporate more film into my layouts, I decided to pair this collection with some recent instax photos. I simply attached them with small paper clips to some of the artiste digital papers, trimmed down to 3 by 4 inches. Kinda love this result!
Look forwarding to sharing more of my Paislee Press layouts in August.
